Graflex RB Series B

The RB Series B, 3-1/4 x 4-1/4, shown with it's original box.

The Revolving Back, or RB Series B cameras were introduced in 1923, in 2-1/4 x 3-1/4, 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 and 4x5 sizes. They are large format SLR's, with fixed mount lenses until 1929, when a compatible thread mount telephoto lens became available. In 1942, the larger sizes were discontinued, the smallest size was dropped in 1951. These cameras were made in fairly large numbers, and are not difficult to find today.
