Zeiss Ikon Sirene

The Sirene was introduced by Ica in 1914, and was produced until the merger that forged Zeiss Ikon in 1926. It was carried in the Zeiss catalog until 1927, most likely liquidation of existing stock, but may have been produced under Zeiss Ikon while they were organizing their catalog, as it was given a catalog number.

The Sirene is a folding plate camera with front rise and shift, single extension bellows, and fitted with Novar or Dominar lenses. It is available in three sizes, 6.5 x 9cm (135/3), 9 x 12cm (135/7) and 8 x 10.5cm (135/5).
