Zeiss Ikon S 310 and S312

The S 310 was not marketed as a Contessa, not in their literature, not on the instruction book or on the box. It is, however, marked Contessa on the top of the shutter face. It was a compact automatic exposure camera, with focus distance, shutter speed and aperture visible in the finder. It carried a product code of 10.0351 and was availabe in 1970.

The S 312 was product number 10.0354, and was available in 1972. It was similar to the S 310, except it had a coupled rangefinder and a built in collapsible lens shade. It was not marked Contessa. This camera was continued as the Voigtlander VF 101 after Zeiss Ikon stopped camera production.
