Zeiss Ikon Contaflex TLR Lenses

The lenses for the Contaflex TLR are all basically designs used on the Contax. All were finished in chrome, a preview of what was in store for the Contax users when the Contax II was available the next year. The lens line-up included:

35/4.5 Orthometer
35/2.8 Biogon
50/2.8 Tessar
50/2 Sonnar
50/1.5 Sonnar
85/4 Triotar
85/2 Sonnar
135/4 Sonnar

Four of the lenses, the 35/2.8 Biogon, the 85/2 Sonnar, the 50/1.5 Sonnar and the 50/2 Sonnar.

The 35/2.8 Biogon and finder mounted on the camera.

The rear of the 35/2.8 Biogon with an unusual adapter to Leica thread mount (probably not made by Zeiss).

The finder for the 35mm lens, which is extremely rare. It mounted on the lugs surrounding the lens mount also used by the lens shade.

The 50/2 Sonnar mounted on the camera.

The Contaflex with the high speed 50/1.5 Sonnar mounted.

The shade for the Contaflex 50m lenses, which attaches to lugs on the body.
