Ihagee Vest Pocket Night Exakta

The Night Exakta ,first version, with 80/2 Biotar.

The Night Exaktas are like the Exakta A and B, except the were fitted with special high speed lenses, which had a larger diameter lens mount. They also are the only Vest Pocket Exakta that do not have the serial number on the lens flange. Because of the width of the lens mount, the serial number is located on the rear edge of the top of the viewing hood. Occasionally Night Exaktas are found without serial numbers anywhere. These are presumed to be modification of other model to accept the larger lenses, the serial numbers lost with the flange change.

Lenses for the Night Exakta were:

    8cm/1.9 Meyer Primoplan
    8cm/2 Schneider Xenon
    8cm/2 Zeiss Biotar
    3"/1.9 Dallmeyer Super-Six
