Contaflex Alpha and Beta

Contaflex Beta

The Contaflex Alpha and Beta were introduced in 1958, replacing the Contaflex I and II. They have less expensive 45/2.8 Pantar lenses with interchangeable front cells. The Contaflex Alpha was numbered in the newer style product numbers as 10.1241, while the Beta was 10.1251. The only difference is that the Beta has the exposure meter used on the Contaflex II and IV, while the Alpha does not.
