90/4 Simlar, a copy of the 90/4 Elmar from Leitz
Tokyo Kogaku produced most of the normal lenses for the Leotax cameras. Earlier lenses carried the name "Simlar", and were close copies of Leitz designs. Most commonly found are copies of the Leitz 50/3.5 Elmar and a 50/1.5 Summarit. Later lenses are of more original design, and carry the name "Topcor".
Tokyo Kogaku later produced the Topcon line of SLR cameras. Although they stopped making cameras in the late 1970's, they still manufacture scientific and medical equipment.
